Retrax Pro XR - AT4 Short bed

Looking for a bed cover. Want something pretty secure that locks. Anyone have any views on the Retrax Pro XR? First truck so I have nothing to compare to but love the idea of being able to add rails then possible baskets down the road for a little more storage. Also like the idea of being able to lock in multiple positions.

Only negative I've heard is that you lose about 11 inches (square) where the roller mounts. Not sure this will be an issue for me but figured I'd ask for any opinions out there.

Call this number. They have the best price that I can find delivered. I just got the Yakima hd rack for the back. just ordered the cover. :844-428-2872
Ask for Peter. It is $300 less then everywhere else!

I would be interested to know how you like the roll up cover! I am considering the same thing and have the same concerns
 

I am in the same boat. I found a retailer that has the for $1600 and some change. Ordering mine tomorrow. I’ll keep you posted on what the out come is.
A friend of mine has the XR. You do lose space, however it is not a total loss as there is a bit of room underneath the unit.
