Has anyone used the Black w/red outline emblems or overlays from eBay? I'd like to switch to that color scheme, but I'm not sure which ones to buy for best results. My primary concerns are durability and color-matching the AT4 emblems already on the truck. Unfortunately, the photos on eBay make it impossible to determine whether or not they'll be a good match.

Overlays seen here:

Or plastic replacements seen here:

The best ones I have seen are custom made. A poster here on this board (I will look up his posts and link them here) had some custom AT4X emblems made. They look great. I have tried to find out where he got them or who made them as I want the same one's for my new AT4X.

Here is the tail gate emblem he had made. I think it looks great, and want the same thing for my truck.

I would just like to know who made them for him, or where one could go to get similar made.

This is the place I got my custom black and red AT4X door sides and rear tailgate "AT4X" emblems. Really good quality.

Anyone bought the complete replacements? How hard were the factory ones to remove?
Yes. Factory GMC in Black with chrome outline. Black AT-4 emblems.

The front GMC wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t easy either. I didn’t want to remove my grille so I sacrificed the red ones by prying the red inlay out to get to the clips behind it. Had to use my dremel in a couple of places to get the red loose so I could pry it out. Use your new ones as reference to see where the red clips are. Once out use a flat screwdriver to gently release the retaining clips and the chrome part comes out.

All the rest is 2 sided tape. Mask the area prior to taking it loose so you know where to put the emblems back. Use fish line to saw behind the emblem and it will come loose. Then use 3m adhesive remover to remove the remaining adhesive on the paint, clean with alcohol and reapply the new emblems.

I used factory emblems from Shopchevyparts.com. Cheapest route I could find. Also did center caps GMC in black. All parts were under $500 shipped.

Changed all emblems and could not find a small AT4 emblem on bottom part of grill so paint code match to cover even that little bit of chrome.

I have these as well. They are very well built and have lasted for over a year now with no issues.

Just picked up my ‘24 and I ordered the overlays. I put them on and they are just OK. From a far they look fine but not clean enough for me. I’ll be investigating hyperdip but will most likely go with replacing them.
