Picked this up in January and really like the truck so far. Has anyone else noticed a rattle coming from the back seat area? At first, thought it was the rear head rest but its not them. Also read it might be the the metal tabs that hold the seat in the up position but in my case it still rattles with the seat up or down. Trying to avoid a trip to the dealer having them tear things apart trying to figure it out.

I hear something in mine that sounds a little like the passenger rear door isn't latched, but that would be too easy.

Might be some helpful info here:

I had this on my new ‘23. Every time I hit a little bump it sounded like a metal on metal rattle coming from either behind the middle or passenger side rear seat. I was planning on letting the dealership know about it but one day I was cleaning the back of the truck and I sat down on the middle seat and heard something latch behind the seat…no more rattle. I’m about 250#, but something was not latched behind that rear seat from the factory. Haven’t heard anything since.

Thank you for sharing, I did come across this thread when I was searching the site. I think my rattle might be something else because it still does it with the seats raised.

Same issue but different location…any of you guys hear a sound that is similar to acorns hitting the roof driving down the road. It’s almost like the metal is flexing or something. Doesn’t happen all the time, but it’s definitely in the roof area. Just a pop/thud from time to time. (I sound like a female in my description but I’m perplexed). Drives me insane. Can’t imagine what it could be.

Still got the rattle and tried the rubber band trick on the latches and it didn't help it.
Found this guys video (not mine) and that is exactly the rattle I have. Warning he is a little upset.

If I am understanding it right, it’s from the third brake light. There is a service bulletin for it. The temperature changes in the brake light housing causes it to rub against the metal roof and make a pop noise. Mine does it rarely and I keep forgetting to mention it to the dealer. It drove me nuts one day trying to figure out where it was coming from. I thought something, like acorns, was falling in the roof. Then I remembered I was in a parking lot, with no trees anywhere.

Thank you. Glad to hear I’m not crazy.
