Hey! Long-time jeep and *insert random sportier luxury car* owner who decided to consolidate and buy an AT4X three weeks ago. Absolutely love this truck.

My 1500 AT4X has the AEV front bumper with d-ring holes for a front recovery. For the life of me I can't see any recovery points in the rear when you don't opt for the ridiculously priced AEV package. I've seen several hitch-receiver recoveries gone wrong on the jeep trails and don't want to consider that as on option.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!

so you got the AEV front bumper but it didnt come with the rear? I've got a 22 refresh and have been waiting on aftermarket front bumpers since purchase. If you're against using the receiver recovery inserts there are several mfg that have rear bumpers available.

In 2024 the AEV front bumper is the standard front bumper on the AT4X. For an additional almost $8k you can add the rear bumper, embroidered headrests, and some black vinyl and a badge on your tailgate.

I actually own one of those and many other Factor 55 recovery products...they're an awesome company. As heavy as this truck is I'd like to rely on something attached to the frame to reduce points of failure.

The TRX , Raptor, and Tremor all have them...even my dad's 2015 Tundra TRD Off-Road has one tucked up underneath the rear bumper.

I was just thinking that an any off-road spec truck should come with two in the front and at least one built into the rear.

The problem with the receiver hitch recovers is the drop. get something like the below; you will be good.

good bit of info, I have to avoid looking at all the new goodies for the sake of my wallet! 100% agree on GM's lack of what should be standard equipment. seems like the midsize guys get more love sometimes.
