I'm going to install a leveling kit on my 2022 GMC 1500 AT4 which has the factory 2" lift. I need more room for my 35" tires. Here's my choices:

My truck will be in the shop next week to have the Bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks installed, and I thought it probably wouldn't be much more work to install a leveling kit while they have the truck apart. I'd prefer the Ready Lift kit to the Rough Country kit, but the Ready Lift kit is $130. more and I'm not sure the Ready Lift kit is available.
What's your opinion?

I have the RC 1.5" front level, with the RC 3.5" UCA's. No problems for me.

But I would have preferred the Ready Lift 2" kit. It just wasn't available - or supposedly made to fit - the AT4X. Even though about a year ago Ready Lift said it was good to go on the AT4X, and people here have it on their AT4X.

Good choice on the Ready Lift. It is what I wished I could have done, but wasn't an option for me 5 months ago.

Had the RC UCA’s installed last week and had a ball joint boot leak. Called RC and they overnighted one to me but I’ve been out of town for work. When I get back I’m getting it swapped out. Think it was overfilled with grease by the shop.

Why is everyone knocking the rough country set up ? its just some metal and plastic spacers like the rest of the kits and its affordable. I mean I know you typically get what you pay for but has anyone had any actual issues with the kit failing or a ball joint snapping off like the factory GM ball joints ?

sorry, I wasn’t knocking em. I was actually trying to show them some praise for the quick customer service.

I just got a new At4x. Been emailing with readylifts people and the At4x version of their level kit is in testing slated for release soon. A month or so I was told. Has to
Do with the diff type of shock on the At4x.

Seems like RC has been knocked for the past decade or two. Like everything else probably some of it is warranted but mostly overblown.

In the Jeep world RC suspension is the absolute bottom of the pile. Recently I have heard they are attempting to re-brand and build quality parts. I do have RC light bars on two vehicles and they do seem to be of good quality.

Came out Ok.

I ordered both kits and ended up going with the Ready Lift. I think they are both nice kits but the installation of the Ready Lift kit was a bit easier and I like the UCA a bit better as well. I installed myself and it went very easy and quickly. Then had the dealer do the alignment.
