I have it on my elevation. It’s nice and bright.Has anyone installed this? I do like the pop it gives the backend: https://www.putco.com/product/blade-led-tailgate-light-bar/v/GMC/Sierra 1500/2023/
In another thread someone mentioned taking the tailgate off on their HD by themselves being a pain. Did you have to take off the tailgate for the 1500 install?i have it on my 2022 at4x no issues it was easy plug and play with the tail lights
I put it on my AT4 and live the look. I even screwed up a little and have a slight sag in the middle but it actually creates a cool effect if you walk towards it where the middle will be brighter and as you move around it works the bright part towards the sides.Has anyone installed this? Yep, just dont hook up all the wires. I had one on my truck that I just sold. I hooked up only the brake lights (also turn signals) and reverse lights. I did not need the running lights. I figured the more brake lights the better.Curious if this led bar can be used for back up lighting only as that's really the only reason I would want it. Would be nice if there was a way to have it linked to a switch as well.
You can probably hook it up without taking it off, but it made it a lot easier. I just pulled it off and laid it kind of sideways in the bed. The only hard part is finding the right angle to get the driver side up and out.Did you have to remove the tailgate to do the install?
Do you have the multipro tailgate? I believe it is much heavier. You can probably hook it up without taking it off, but it made it a lot easier. I just pulled it off and laid it kind of sideways in the bed. The only hard part is finding the right angle to get the driver side up and out.
