Pricing on 2023s

You can work them down with the '24's out. I originally wanted a 2023, but the order bank opened for the 2024's and I took the plunge. I had a dealer offer to come so far down on the price of a '23 3500HD I almost said yes! I like the new styling on the '24, so I went that route.

Still at MSRP on my 2023 and awaiting delivery. I checked with a lot of dealers in the NW - only two were charging above MSRP.

Are the 24's out for the 1500s? I've seen the HDs but nothing on the 1500s.

Curious on what people are paying currently for 2023s. I've got a reservation on one witih a TPW of 5/15 listed as MSRP of $76k. It's a V8 w/ pretty much every option. Hoping I can work the dealer down a bit. What is everyone here seeing?
So this is a long shot, but IF you know someone that can get a gm supplier discount and find a dealer that accepts the discount you can save thousands. I paid 67k before taxes. LZO crew cab, standard bed with preffered and premium package. No haggling. It's a set price.

If you buy from a big dealer you can save a lot. As an example...Laura GMC near St Louis sells all their AT4's for 4-5k off MSRP. If you don't mind a drive home in your new truck you can save a lot. I had a 23 on order for a long time with a different dealer and eventually Laura had what I wanted and just drove the 7 hours and saved a bunch of money.

Exactly what I did one week ago.

This is what I've done on my last 3 new truck purchases. I have a friend whose father worked for GM for decades, I get a "friends and family" discount code from his father, which took about 4K off the MSRP of my 23 AT4X. Most dealers won't accept these employee discount codes now, a change that happened last year where GM said they have the option to not honor the code. Before that, they had to honor the code.

I got my 2020 AT4 3.0 diesel for just a bit above 50 K 3 years ago. Covid had just hit, dealerships were trying to move vehicles much more back then, so I had negotiated a very good price on that truck (GM had heavy incentives at that time also), plus I gave them the discount code at the end of the negotiations, which all of this got a truck that MSRP'd at almost 60K down to just over 50K. Plus I got very high dollar on the truck I traded in. You won't get those kinds of deals anymore with covid supply issues, etc.

Thanks - Missouri is pretty far drive from Central NY, so that might be off the table.

That's awesome. I worked for a Daimler affiliated equipment dealer years ago and locked in an awesome price on a Jeep at the time. Unfortunately, I don't know anyone affiliated with GM at this point. Unless someone on this forum.....nah, never mind.
