I searched the forum and didn't find much for the 6.2L. Does the Power Commander give the 6.2L a nice boost? I realize it doesn't add any HP but it does work with the throttle response and any/all pre-programmed throttle delays.

Anyone not think it's worth the money or otherwise would advise against getting one?

Sitting here in bed recovering from surgery and I'm using it to come up with a list of things I'd like to do to my 2023 Sierra 1500 AT4.

Thanks,
Todd

Hi Sanny, I can’t speak to the Pedal Commader, but I have a Soler Performance Controller in my C8. It really brings the throttle to life. The install was crazy easy. I like it so much, I want to put it in my new AT4, but my concern is about the app that controls it confusing it with my C8. I’m going to contact Soler to see what they have to say. Meanwhile if you get the Pedal Commander, please report back with your findings. I’ll do the same if your interested in the Soler…

Deal my friend! Thank you

I email Soler this morning. They responded pretty quickly and said this; “
You won’t run into any issues with the app. It will automatically connect to whichever vehicle you’re in and have turned on, so no confusion between your C8 and your GMC.

When you’re ready to order, feel free to use the discount code TIFF5OFF at checkout.”

I ordered it this afternoon. It works great with my C8 and can’t hardly wait for this one to arrive. Let us know what you decide.

Do you have just the throttle controller or do you also have the throttle body they sell?

You can do both if you like, but I just did the Controller. It takes just a few minutes to install. I like the various settings, from very responsive “ludicrous”, “valet”, lock” and back to OEM.

I have the Banks Pedal Monster on my 2025 Yukon AT4 ultimate. I've used similar on my last 2 Wrangler Rubicons and absolutely love them. The Banks PM connects to the OBD 2 and draws its power from it. YouTube as several videos of install and reasons to choose one over another and like stated, i went with the Banks system.

Be careful with Pedal Commander. It fried my throttle position sensor in my previous Canyon. The dealership says they see more issues with Pedal Commander than any of the other ones.

They may be more problematic or it could be because there are more of them in the marketplace than there are (as of today) than their competitors, so proportionally it may be the same as their competitors, better or worse. I'm not savvy enough to know.

I wanted to do the Banks system, but cannot use the OBD2 as I have my CarByte in that port. If I have to choose between throttle performance and helping prevent lifter failure from DFM terrorism, I'll go with the latter. Wish I didn't have to choose, as there's a lot of things I like about the Banks that the Commander doesn't provide.

Ive had Pedal Commander on my Wrangler 392 for 3 1/2 years. It did really make a huge difference. I have been thinking of one for the truck. They go on sale frequently so patience will pay off.

I think you can use an OBD 2 splitter and THINK they are available on the Banks website. I'm really happy with mine.
