I have a 2024 2500 HD AT4 and left my sunroof partially open prior to washing it (Yes I’m a dumba$$). Nonetheless a very small amount of h2o got into the F console (Overhead controls that operate the sunroof, rear sliding window, onStar, passenger airbag on/off notification, garage door buttons, and interior cab lights. I removed it and it appears okay as there are no burn marks on the wafer board like one would expect if it got wet and fried and the connections and wires are all good. My problem is that my sunroof, interior lights, and airbag light on my dash don’t work. Also the passenger airbag notification isn’t working either. I’ve checked ALL the fuses and tired to reset the system by disconnecting the batteries and NOTHING is fixing the issues. I even bought an new F console (overhead control panel) and still nothing :/ Anyone have any ideas or know where I can find the fuses that are for the sunroof, safety restraint system, or the interior lights?

How long ago? Sounds like a motor or electrical circuit is wet and grounding out, causing the whole f panel circuits to go wonky, or the bcm.

I don't have a 24 manual to look at the fuse circuitry, surely there is a fuse for the system.

It doesn't take much for the bcm to error out a circuit.

Sunroof fuse is F54. Drinkers side of dash.

ETA...picture is worth a 1000 words...

It happened a little over a week ago after I installed the cab (chicken) lights. I tested F54 and it’s good. I even swapped it with no changes. Where is the bcm located? It’s my understanding that the fuse circuitry in a 24 is the same as in a 23 but have no actual verification. I’m at the point where I’m going to pull everything apart AGAIN and remove the entire headliner so I can see everything including the wiring. I don’t want to take it in to the dealer because I know they are not going to warranty anything just because I installed the cab lights myself. Which are working great! But this issue of the safety restraint system and airbag issue concerns me. The wife and I are going to pull the rv to Texas next month to go see our grandson and don’t want an airbag to go off unexpectedly or have any other issues. So I continue to troubleshoot 🤦‍♂️. It has to be something as simple as a fuse or tripped breaker but I’m at a loss as where else to look or where the breaker would be located 🤷🏼‍♂️. Also since I have the spare F console I plugged it in and no change in the issues, which tells me it’s not the F console that’s the problem. Actually when I plugged it in, the green light that comes on and stays on that’s located next to the OnStar button, did not light up like the original one. I’m baffled 😣

Also I find it strange that my sliding rear window and the SOS, OnStar, and garage door opener buttons still work and operate correctly in the original F panel. So half of it works but the other half doesn’t 🧐

Thank you everyone I really appreciate the info and will be checking phobby’s information out and if it’s not that I will be doing as gemarsh suggested. That’s the easy one as playing dumb is something I’m REALLY good at!!! Lmao 🤪

Issue(s) remain and have an appointment this week with my local GMC dealership.
Couldn’t find the fuse that goes to the BCM connector so I’m really hoping that it’s something as simple as that.
