plastic body for door mirrors?

Just looking at a photo I took of my truck and the first thing that stands out is the plastic on the mirror do they offer a paint option for this from the factory or was this the only option?
Thinking of changing it up, maybe wrapping it or paint?

I was looking at these. Not sure how it would look. I know it would definitely show bugs and chips more than the plastic cap that came on mine. You can pick the color of your truck. Supposedly GM products. I think these are for the Chevy, but they have them for ours as well.

Same thing I got here with the gloss black cap but I’m talking about the charcoal plastic body of the mirror.
