Painted chrome exhaust tips

Got tired of the chrome exhaust tips, ended up painting them today.
Cannot recall if it was here or not but saw when someone else did it and looked good! Just got to see how it holds up now.

I agree. While chrome isn't awful, it's defiantly passed it's prime.

What did you use to paint your exhaust tips?
I'm using high temperature gloss black spray paint. Hopefully doing it this week but we've got a lot of rain predicted for the next few days.

I did the same with my exhaust tips. I used Krylon high heat with satin finish.

I took them completely off and washed them thoroughly. I also used an adhesion promoter before I sprayed with paint.

How did you get them off. Looks like the screws/bolts are very hard to get at.
