So I know GM has had issues with white commercial vehicles for years.......I see work vans all the time that have paint falling off the back doors. But my 2021 AT4 had some paint fall off the rockers near the back tire on the driver's side. It's possible stones were kicked up.....but the spot just looks weird. I took it to the dealer, they said that it should be covered under warranty. However they told me I had to call an 800 number to start a case with GMC first. So I did, but then the GMC person asked what the body shop had quoted....( which of course they hadn't because they said I needed a case number first.) So it sounds like with enough phone calls I'll probably get it fixed in about 6 months lol. But I wanted to have it ceramic coated this fall....I think I'll hold off until they fix the paint. It looks like it's just falling off.
