Has anyone gotten a solution to this check engine code for emission systems? My new 2023 AT4 1500 diesel with 600 miles got this code over this weekend. I noticed my fob start and my gmc app start would not work then I saw the check engine light on once inside the vehicle to start. Other threads do not seem promising but going to dealer first thing Monday morning as I drive. 40+ miles each way to work. I love the MPG in the diesel for this truck but irritated to say the least on error code after 600 miles of owning it.

Just had the same truck w/ 7300mi engine light go off. What was the fix and how long did it take? I set an appt w dealer and they said this type of code will require me leaving it there for a few days.

I dropped it off to local dealership with error code report from On Star. After being there, they only found some crystallization and cleaned it off. The code remained off for another 1500 miles and came on again, which resulted in a straight drive to dealership. After that appointment, they are replacing the nitrogen sensor as recommended (previously did one a week prior for someone else). I have been waiting on a gasket to arrive to make the repair but with the strike it has taken longer for it. Appointment is October 9th and will update on how that goes. Irritating to say the least!

Hopefully it gets fixed for you oct 9th. Are they allowing you to drive it in the meantime or is it stuck at the dealer?

They said I could drive it but to watch and if the CEL starts flashing to pull over, which I find idiotic. It could go into limp mode and/or do more damage so I have read. I have chosen not to and made them provide a loaner/rental to me while I wait for part. I drive 80+ miles a day for work above 70 mph and do not want limp mode to occur on busy interstate. I have had loaner now for 2 weeks. If it happens again and same code is shown, I don’t know what I will do. I love the truck and the mpg I get over my old tundra for my drive but this CEL is something I’ve never had in the past with my prior tundra.

I dropped my truck off Oct 5th and got it back today(Oct 11th). They found a leak at the exhaust clamp area and report shows slight crystallization. They replaced the exhaust clamp with new clamp and seal and performed a reductant regen to clean out the exhaust. Hoping I don't see that engine light on ever again! Hopefully your trip Oct 9th went well.

I drop it off today as the 9th got pushed back due to another job ahead of mine. I will keep that in mind and mention it to them today on what they did with yours.
