Does anyone have a good dealer from which to order a new 2024 AT4X? I place an order with a dealer in June and GM still has not accepted the order. The dealer doesn't get back to me, and GM says I need to get info from the dealer. I bought my last one (2023) from the same dealer, but really poor customer service. Love to find a new dealer. I'm in SoCal but will buy from anywhere. Gracias!

I've run into the same issues with trying to order a '24 3500 AT4. As such, I've learned quite a bit about the process and it sounds like your dealership is having issues with allotment and consensus numbers, therefore leaving you hanging. I talked to 2 different dealerships in San Antonio and the one that said could order me one required $5K deposit whereas the other one didn't require any deposit. At the no deposit dealer, I was number 9 in line to place an order....same allotment & consensus issue and there was no telling how long that would have taken. So, I gave up on that route and tried finding one "in transit" to dealers within a 500 mile range of my house. After 10-12 calls about trucks match the build I want, they were all already reserved. I expanded my range to 1K miles and called 4 more and the last call had one in route unaccounted for. The dealer only required $500 down and I reserved it immediately. I am still in the process of waiting for delivery to the dealership from the Flint, MI holding cell but the dealership has been great to work with. They have been friendly and responsive to this point, so I would recommend them. If you don't mind the drive, look up McLarty Daniel GMC in Bentonville, AK . My sales rep is Chris Feurer. I recommend Power in Salem, OR, or Gruner in Madras, OR. I bought my AT4X from Power last month.
If you get on the locator on the GMC site you should be able to find the truck you want. Not really any need to special order and wait forever as there are virtually no options to special order other than the AEV options. I found several trucks in Texas, Austin & Amarillo but I found the best deal at a small dealership in NW Arkansas.

I second using the GMC locator, that is how I have found my last trucks. Then just go get it.
