Order Timeframe AT4 Yukon (not XL)

Anyone have an estimate time frame- Ordered my Fiancé an AT4 Yukon (not XL) back in August- dealer couldn't give a time frame and now GM constantly says "Your order has been submitted by your dealer but has not officially been accepted by GM at this time". I think it may be delayed as they switch from 22 to 23 but when I ordered my truck (pretty loaded and refresh model) from Chevy earlier this year it was only about 12 weeks... Just starting to get impatient. Thank you!

A few things have to happen. Your dealer has to be allocated the model you ordered and GM has to have all the parts to build it before they will approve the order. The larger volume dealer you placed your order at, generally, the sooner it will be accepted. Also, I was told by my dealer, the largest GMC dealer in the country, to not order dealer-installed accessories with the order, let the dealer order and install them. It can prevent the truck from getting hung up in the system while waiting for all the right parts.

I have a Sierra that was produced the week of 10/3 and GMC customer service agents are sticking to the script of "8-12 weeks is the current expected time from production to delivery". My truck isn't waiting on any parts, chips, bed liner...nothing. It's been completed but is sitting in a lot somewhere near Ft. Wayne waiting on a choo-choo (crossing fingers railroad union strike doesn't happen).
