Has anyone put these on themselves? Is it difficult or should i just let the dealer do it?

Don't pay anyone to do this for you, especially a dealer. I took mine off my 21 and added to my 23. Will take you 30 min on the ground, maybe. super simple. An extra set of hands helps when lifting them but you can do it by yourself.
