What octane of gas are y’all running? In my 6.2 it recommends 93 octane but I’ve only been able to find that at one station. Regularly running 91 octane. Can’t say I could tell a difference in 93 & 91 other than a very slight gain in mpg maybe. Not many stations in this entire area carry 93.

Why the double post?

I have a 2021 with the 6.2L. For the 1st 5K miles I used 93. Then I switched to 87 with no issues. I was worried about knocking/pinging, so I monitored it closely. 93 is recommended, not required. I did notice slight drop in gas mileage, about 0.7 MPG.

I am only at 3K right now on the truck but have been running 87 with no issue.

I did try out using 93 for a full tank to see if I could feel a difference in power or any difference in MPG, but nothing that stood out as a large difference that would make me want to keep running 93 at the higher cost.

First tank was filled by dealer, so I'm assuming that was 87. My first fill up was with 93, but my second tank was 87 and I haven't noticed any lost in performance or mpg. I'll probably try a bit of both depending on prices and availabiltiy.
