I took my '25 3500 HD in for its first service last week. I mentioned to the service gal that:

1. Sometimes the blinker will stop making noise,

2. Sometimes the screen will go blank for a few seconds, then come back on menu, and navigation will not load,

3. Button in center of dial, and home button under it do nothing (never did).

They did a radio software update to address #1 and #2. They replaced the radio control module and radio screen to address #3. Now the buttons work, and hopefully no more glitches. As a bonus, the new screen still has the plastic on it!

Dealer was very nice and professional. I hope that continues for the 8 years of warranty and 8 year service contract.

I’m having the same problem…..dealer told me there’s a glitch with the infotainment center that they’re working on! Not happy about it…..sometimes I have to turn my truck off, wait a few minutes and then restart it to get it to work! AND sometimes that doesn’t even work but eventually radio and blinker sound will come back on! Pretty Frustrating!

I’ve got a 24 model it’s done the no sound thing pretty much since I drove it off the lot sometimes might go a few months without doing it then sometimes might do a a couple times in a week. Dealer always blows it off and acts shocked like they’ve never heard of such. Very frustrating to say the least

My dealer mentioned something like the blinker/radio sound thing is a voltage glitch between amplifier and radio caused by a software glitch, and one of the software updates they did addresses this issue. Time will tell. So far no problems. I will dig up the receipt and post pics later of exactly what they did.

You got new plastic to peel off? My dealer ripped mine off right in front of me. I have a new dealer now... 😂

Yea, my sales person did the same thing when I bought my truck. I was happy to see the service people left it on with the new screen.

My favorite is when I get out and the radio won’t turn off for a half hour

In case anyone doesn’t know, you can do a hard reset of the big infotainment screen (it is basically just a big android tablet) by holding down the end call button on the steering wheel for 10-15 seconds. You must be in park with the truck running for it to work.

I’ve had random problems rarely where the screen will freeze, or fail to connect to a phone for AirPlay. The hard reset usually fixes it.

my 2024 bought in december 2023 did this until the last dealer software up date now it's good. on another note the entire dash cluster went out last week and she's still in the shop. these do have some gremlins

Mine does it every other month or so. Tried the reset and that seldom works. Shut it off and get back in it after a couple of minutes and it’s usually fine

I hate to say it but I'm glad I'm not alone. I picked up a '26 last week and Android Auto frequently won't connect, then yesterday I had no sound at all. No blinkers, no radio, nada. Rebooting the infotainment didn't fix it. Had to turn off the truck for a few minutes while I was getting fuel and when I restarted it, everything was back to normal.
I keep checking for a software update... none yet.
My '24 1500 infotainment system was flawless the 2 years I owned it so this is surprising to me.

I still get the audio (radio, Apple music, etc) going out for a second, then coming back on. Usually at the part of the song when you start to sing along. 🙄 For as much as the truck was, you think they could put better tech in it.

Not sure if this will solve your guys' issues but, try having your dealer apply the Y176 update to your infotainment software. I had the same issue (no sound, blinkers, etc.) on my 25 and this update solved all of that. I still get occasional random glitches but nothing like that anymore.
