Hey Guys, new here but not new to trucks. Been in the used car business since 1983 and other than a 1986 Silverado short bed I bought new this is the 2nd NEW GM I have ever bought!
2023 GMC AT4 HD! Everything but a roof (which I didn't want) and front and side cameras. Going next week for a Retax??? bed cover, have GM install the front camera and thinking about getting the smoked side marker lights!
Been 4 days so far trying to figure out all of the extra buttons...lol

Congrats on the new ride and have fun with the future mods!
Looks like I am going to need to research this forum for help. Been all day trying to save sitting for the stero and seat mess and still can't get it done!🤦 my 16 Denali was nothing compared to this mess. Lol

Welcome to the forum and good to see another HD on the board. ps... I know you don't want to, but you might just have to take a peak at that manual.

I had to admit, but I have gone over it 3 times. If I was 20 years younger I could figure it out. I call my salesman back and told him I wanted to trade it in for something with only power windows, tilt and cruise. He laughed and said come see him Monday and he would go over everything, AGAIN!
just when I thought I had the seat memory right we went to eat, come back out and they was all jacked up again.....

for memory seats, make sure the option is set to "on" in the settings...

Select Settings > Vehicle > Seating Position > Seat Entry Memory > ON or OFF.

Put a dab of black rtv silicone in the 2 drain holes on top of the tailgate finger hold, while new and clean.

On top of the tailgate plastic, directly in the middle. There is an indentation/pocket for your fingertips. There are 2 small holes (~3/16") to drain that pocket. It drains inside, right on top of the tailgate release buttons, below, causing issues.

so what happens when that pocket is filled with water due to the drain holes being filled?

Spills out onto your boots, when you drop the gate.
