What mods were they?

To me it looks like you tinted(?) the grille and badges. If not, what did you do to them?

Yup! Tint, black badges on back/sides, black side vents, custom painted the rear and front GMC emblems.

Heck yeah, it looks amazing! Did you do the tint yourself or did you have someone else do it? How about the paint? And if you did do it yourself how hard was it and would you recommend others also do it? And if you don't mind, how much did it cost?

Nah had a local spot in Lancaster PA that does all my cars tint. It’s a ceramic tint. Keeps heat out better.

I had a local body shop paint the emblems. I wanted to keep the red but hate chrome. The emblems can actually come off the car pretty easy. They are also two pieces- G.M.C they come apart. Red pulls off the chrome. They are together with plastic rivets.They Dremeled them apart carefully to paint the chrome them glided them back together.

because it’s a tedious process they charge quite a bit. it was 200$. I think it was worth it looks amazing and now chrome free!

Same here! They need to offer a chrome delete package like the Lariat Sport Package (now Black Package) that Ford offers. Eventually I will make a thread about that.
