Good after folks name is Jake. New to the GMC family having always driven fords I recently made the switch after a regrettable F150 Tremor purchase. I currently drive a 2023 GMC 2500 with a 5” lift and 37” tires. I came from a 2023 GMC 1500 AT4 3.0 and before that a 2023 GMC 1500 Denali. All purchased this year. Anyways located here in sunny south Florida and looking forward to sharing thoughts insights and information with the group.

Welcome to the AT4 Forum! What kind of problems did you have with the F150 Tremor?

They were mostly aesthetic issues for me but here is the list.

Drivers door paint bubbled up and was actually peeling like it had oil on it when it was painted.

Leather on drivers seat was peeling and flaking.

Leather steering wheel peeling flaking

And personally just loathed the 3.5 eco boost.

The suspension was super soft and towing my pontoon boat made my headlights shine in the sky .

Small things I know but for an 80k truck I was just overall disappointed.

I agree with you, that's a shame. For a high end truck like that to have that many cosmetic failures is unacceptable. I've only drive 1 ecoboost with the twin charges (I think?) It was impressive for a 6 cylinder but I felt a bit of turbo lag and when floored just did have the "throw you in the back seat" feel and throaty V8 sound.

Agreed it was underwhelming for me the sound of the motor was meh, and when towing it was an absolute gas hog

That's interesting it was so bad on mpg while towing. I just can't buy into a much smaller displacement gas engine that's boosted with turbos, high compression, and higher fuel pressure. Reliability and to some degree performance would really worry me. Especially if I put a lot of miles on each year and towing a substantial amount.
