Hello AT4Forum.com,
I purchased a New 2023 AT4 LZ0 Carbon Pro in March after a long battle to get my 2022 RST Silverado totaled through insurance due to an accident. (Truck was T-Boned driver front fender, insurance wanted to replace the damaged frame, blah blah,)
After a month of owning the AT4 we had a storm blow through and drop a small tree on it in the driveway
. Life is funny.
It's at the dealer's body shop getting repaired currently. (New lower tailgate, some small dents)
We have clocked 4k miles so far. Averaging 27+MPG all day and diesel in my area is $3.40 right now which is nice. A slight upgrade from the RST, even though that truck was well optioned.
Being my first diesel there is a lot to learn and lots to hate evidently (emissions? LOL), hence why I am here amongst other places.
No stranger to Forums, I have spent a lot of time on Yotatech (97 4runner: Sold, 07 FJ Curiser: Still own) and Ls1Tech (99 SS Camaro: Still own).
I will be abusing the search tab immediately.
Few things planned when i get it back: Tint, Kicker sub install, Magnum rack.
The trucks come well optioned so there really isn't a lot I'm trying or needing to do, yet.
Some visuals.
2023 Carbon Pro AT4:
2022 RST, a few months into ownership:
2022 RST last ride less then 10k miles:
1999 SS: Just turned 70K
2007 FJ: Old photo from 2016ish. Hasn't changed much. Same build, just have been maintaining like a bastard.
