Welcome to the forum @SB_Jimbo! What brand/model of camping trailer are you considering?

HI there.. thinking of either a Rockwood Micro Lite 2109 or 2205S. Bother are well within the towing limits of 7,700 lbs - dry weight is around 4,500 - 5,100 lbs.. plus weight of "stuff" in the trailer + cargo / passengers in Canyon. I'm being mindful to not exceed any more than 80% of towing rating.

Nice! Check out some of the No Boundaries trailers. I've seen several up close and been impressed with the build quality.

I'm also a fan of the Airstream Basecamps, but they are really proud of those trailers!

I'm partial to Forrest River since I own a 2318G Pop-Up that I love. The layouts of the No Bo trailers are quite what I'm looking for - although the ability to be a bit ore off-road is appealing. I also really like the layout of the Jay feather 19mrk model - very versatile. Here's my Rockwood 2318G - has 2 beds - just slightly less than a Queen and King, plus sofa folds to twin, elec flush toilet, headed mattresses (if you have shore power - I usually dry camp). Looking forward to a time when set-up and "tear-down" are more simple / much less time / effort. I love my pop-up - but at some point in the next few years I'm looking to change to a travel trailer.. Picture is of my trailer in Yosemite Fall 2010, slide-out is the dinnette.

Cheers - Jim
