Im not sure yet. The last 3/4 ton I had was a Ford and I did a lift, tires, 50 gallon tank, deleted it, programmed it, and put a new exhaust on it within the first month. I dont think I am going to need or want to do most of that to this one.

I have seen the light mods for the automatic fog lights as well as all on lights by Boost Auto and those look like a must and very simple. Other than that I dont know yet any suggestions?

Level/lift, wheels, tires, tint…that’s pretty much what I’ll be doing in the new year after winter.

It’s my first diesel so still learning the ins and outs of the duramax. Do you guys ad any fuel additives, cleaners, amsoil or archoil products?

I never added any additives to my previous diesels most of the people I talked to at the dealers said with the fuel now you didnt need to and I never had any issues. Their justification was unless your in the middle of nowhere usually you would never have issues with the diesel now being bad.

Certainly felt the need to lift / level my F250 Im not sure I feel the same way about this one. Certainly going to do tint, ceramic coating, some light mods. Beyond that Im more interested in seeing what if anything else I can do for more power out of it, I know there is a lot out there just need to figure out the duramax since this is my first one.

Yeah I’ve heard that about the fuels these days have additives in them so I guess no real point adding extra. I mean should it hurt? Probably not!

I was at the shop where they do all my work on my vehicles. The owner I know tells me “so let’s see king coils, new wheels and tires, big turbo, delete, tune?” Lol my wife was there too and safe to say she wasn’t please lol but yeah we talked about suspension and a few options that are out there right now.

Welcome to the club! Love the black out emblems. Do you know if those were part of a package or is that the default package for that Thunderstorm Grey. Sweet looking truck…you’re going to love it!

Mine I ordered online and I did the overlay ones. Easy install. Only ones left to do are the bumper markers and the engine/trans on the hood blackout replacement. Those aren't overlays though.
Bummer is the bumper markers aren't sold as individual, gotta buy the whole replacement kit. I may do that down the road if the overlays don't last.
So far so good!

NICE!!!
I want to add the smoked fender markers to mine!
Were they hard to install?
I put the Boost Auto fender markers on mine last week they were not too bad of an install. I do recommend taking the wheels off it makes it a lot easier to get the liners out also taking the rear liners out makes getting the rear fender flares off easier in my opinion. I did the driver side the way Boost Auto said without doing either of those then took the wheels off and liner off on the passenger side and it was a lot easier and really didnt take any longer.
