Hello,
I am a retired AF Officer living in the Wichita Kansas area. I recently purchased a used 2024 Sierra 1500 AT4 with 14,000 miles on it I really like the truck and the only complaint I have at this point may be the tires I have on it. They are the Goodyear Wrangler Territory MTs. They are very load only at certain speeds between 45-55 mph. I was thinking at first it might be some wheel bearings or front axles or something in the differential. The GMC service rep at the dealer said it was the tires. my first question is : Are there reports out there that are similar to what I am experiencing with the Territory MT tires?
Thanks for allowing me to join and look forward to the support.

Funny I just replaced my Territory MTs that came on my 2025 AT4 yesterday with only 6,000 miles on them for that primary reason. I thought they were excessively loud and my research confirmed it was not just me. I put on KO3s and they are definitely quieter. The KO3s should also be much better in the winter weather we deal with here in MN. One added benefit I did not expect in my opinion is better ride and handling. This truck felt “squishy” compared to my previous AT4 but I thought it was due to this new AT4X suspension. Turns out it was the tires that gave me that feel. Hope this helps.

Do they change factory tires every year? I have 2025 At4 that came with Bridgestone Duelers A/T and so far I like them. No noise whatsoever.
Cheers
J

I just replaced the original Wranglers on my 2022.5 1500 AT4 as they had gotten so loud that I could barely stand to drive the thing anymore. Went with the BFG KO3s and they now sound almost silent to me. I will say they've killed my MPGs. I'd say I've seen a drop of at least 4 mpgs, maybe more. But for the quieter ride, I'm happy with that tradeoff!!
