If the gooseneck isn't sharing the circuit with something else, has a >10A fuse, and has a constant 12 volt source, it seems like it would be a possibility. I would hesitate patching into another circuit because and additional 8A is quite a bit. Isn't there a cheap generic transformer to plug into the 120v outlet available, like you would in the house (or is that what you're talking about not being affordable). What does that plug into? Can you send me a URL to the product, so I can see what your dealing with?

LOL! I was so stuck on pulling the power from the battery supply to charge the electric brake battery I never thought of this! DUH! Thanks!

The 12+ circuit in the 7way has a 30amp fuse. Hot always. Get yourself a 7way plug and a 12v sae pigtail and make your lead.

Can you shoot me a pic of the back of that adapter? Thanks!
Not an adapter, It’s a standard 7-way trailer plug. You can buy these at any auto parts or farm store.

You could just forget about the 12+ sae connector and just wire your pump lead into a 7way plug. Your pump should have an inline fuse, keep that.

I use the sureflo pumps and they use the sae connector. Yours might have alligator clips. Cut them off and hard wire to a 7way plug. I recommend the Pollock and so does gm. Hell, as far as that goes, if it has sae, just cut it off and hardwire into a 7way plug. That way, next year you're not looking for the adapter, when it's time to spray.

The SAE connector is really useful but you could also get the 7-way 12v cigarette lighter adapter. Put a male end on the sprayer pump.

One of the best adapters invented in years.
