What’s up y’all.. just had my first crank no start today at 35,987 Miles. Took my truck out to clean it. When I was done and went to turn it on pressed the push button start and it kept cranking but wouldn’t start. I had to press the button 3 times to make it stop. Towed it to the Dealership. Let’s see what they say tomorrow.

Mine has done it 4-5 times too. The reflash “fix” makes the truck crank longer before starting instead of almost immediately without the reflash. 30,900 miles on mine. Quirk of the LM2-I wouldn’t be too concerned.

Had the same problem once.. Cleaned my interior and truck cranked but wouldn’t start… finally figured it out after some troubleshooting. I put my floor mat on top of gas pedal and it pushed it downward enough that it wouldn’t start. Put the mat under gas pedal and started right up. Was just about ready to call tow truck. Easy fix, my bad 😵‍💫😵‍💫

I’ve had about 4-5 of them in almost 30k. Still haven’t gone in to have it flashed. It’s always started on the second crank

Thanks for posting this. I had the same exact thing happen to me yesterday. Cleaned floor mat and put back in in the dark and didn't notice gas pedal was under mat. Glad I saw your post!!!!

I had a no start issue when I hit the deer back in October. (still not fixed yet). When I hit the deer, Onstar disabled the truck as I was trying to make my way far off the right shoulder. I was on the shoulder, but wanted to be further off due to location. I tried to restart the truck as I was talking with Onstar, and it just cranked without fire. I asked Onstar if they disabled the truck and they confirmed. I told them that I hit a deer, and needed the truck further off of the highway, and they reenabled it to start, but it did crank much longer than normal. I have driven it a handful of times since then, and it was cranking more than it had before the accident. I pulled the battery for a hour to try to reset something (did not work), but since then, the truck has been starting normally.
