There’s a thread on here about the Kicker Sound System for the tailgate. That is something that I see as a really neat addition, but it’s not something that I personally would ever use. But has anyone installed the additional led lighting that can be put in the Multipro tailgate? The GMC accessories pair look ok, but I want something that is very bright and not just “mood” lighting. Not sure how bright the GMC ones are? Any thoughts or ideas?

That is super cool (y). Hopefully someone on here has a rig with it, I would love to see pictures.

Have them installed but not wired yet. I've added a momentary switch and photocell so they only come on at night, and only when the step is down. I went with the Headlight Revolution ones because the LED panel is larger than the GM factory lights. I'll try to post a pic this weekend with a 12 volt battery hooked up to show the level of brightness.

I am getting the GMC installed next Saturday. I will try and post a picture. I got them with the under seat storage with the sale they have going. Install is easy since I already have the kicker system but for $55 I am letting them do it

Nice and thanks for offering to share pics!

I also have the Kicker system installed on my 2023 AT4X, can the light itself be removed and installed? I'm sure I don't want to remove the speakers where theses show to be installed.

No. You have to remove the kicker. Need to plug lights into harness.

It's no big deal removing the kicker to add lights. I installed the kicker in the 3500drw and the 23 2500at4. Really easy.

After using the kicker in the 21 1500 carbon pro, I decided any other truck with the multipro needed to have it, if I owned it.

You can buy just the lights that go in the Kicker panel light holes that are already there. I bought a set off amazon and the install was easy. Took maybe 20 minutes. It was plug and play. This is what I bought off Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09M9VKCWD?ref_=cm_sw_r_apin_dp_24K7DP62QZ23FY49YV2W The lights just pop out of the panels they come in and you simply remove the Kicker panel caps and pop the lights in run the wiring and plug it all in. You do have to remove the Kicker panel with all the speakers attached to it but that is a few screws and your done.

BTW my truck came with the Kicker system in it. I just added the lights.
