May not seen it anywhere in forum, but interested in the “Tailgate Fix” sensor for the multi-Pro tailgate . If I put a B&W multi pro adjustable ball mount in the receiver and leave it in all the time so I don’t have to take off and on then I am thinking the company Tailgate Fix has a MANUAL sensor that would be right for leaving the ball in?? Anyone have experience with this? TY Wingding

Have not seen this one but Curt mfg. makes one also that plugs into existing wiring that has a cap on it to cover the receiver when hitch is removed. Also if you push the button for the top tailgate and hold for three seconds it will disable the top tailgate from being able to open.

There's a thread named " Trailer Hitch for the AT4 ??" that might have the info you are looking for. I'm not savvy enough to embed in this post but if you type that in the search box in the upper right of your screen you should find it. I have the Curt Mfg. fix and it works great.

T Mac, I will look for the hitch and appreciate the feedback. I am considering the Tailgate Fix sensor a lot like the Curt but is made out of aluminum and possibly a better quality for not breaking. Not saying what you have is bad at all. Just looked a lot at the reviews. I have a few things of course I would like to do as $ allows. Thanks for the reply.

Information may be on the other thread or old news but you can disable the inner tailgate feature. Have your remote within 3’ while pressing the top button and hold for 3 seconds. The lights will flash indicating being disabled. Reverse the process to use the inner tailgate. I also have added the B&W Tow & Stow hitch.

That's only for the refreshes

I had someone run into the back of my suburban with my hitch in and it tore the crap out of their car and didn’t do any damage to my vehicle so you know sometimes their are other methods to one’s madness. It sure saved me from body work!
I was just going to say that. Work forces me into the city. Probably get lightly bumped twice a year by people not paying attention. Bulletproof hitch is always in. I do remove the attachment when not towing though.
