Howdy friends. New owner of a 2021 diesel AT4 here. It’s still stock with the 18” wheels and Good Year Mud tires. So far I’m averaging 20 mph around the city and close to 25 straight highway.
2 questions:

- Will the mpg’s improve the more I break in the engine?

- For anybody sporting 35” tires with either a front leveling kit or a lift: what does your fuel economy look like? Did it drop down much???

I just got my truck a couple of weeks ago and it came with the factory lift 2" and Mud Terrain tires on 18" wheels, i think the tires are 265's , anyway I am only getting 16-17 highway maybe a little better at lower speeds. Though 70 mph and 80 mph on the interstate didn't seem to make much difference. Got about 3K on it so far.

Im a bit disappointed with the mileage TBH

Leveled out the truck and put on Nitto Ridge Grapplers 35x11.50x20 on the stock 20" rims. Just picked it up this afternoon, so nothing to report on the mileage. I was averaging 23.1 mpg in mix of freeway and city on the stock setup.

I'm running stock AT4 suspension, mudflap bracket delete , with 20" rims +12 offset and 295/60r20 ridge grapplers. Still have slight rub on the passenger front when turning right and hitting a bump. If I go slow it never hits. I'm still getting 18 mpg commuting, best tank on the highway was 22 and towing 9 to 10k lbs from Vermont to NY I got 12.9 mpg which was very impressive ( I was driving very slow as well.)

How much is the offset of +12 effecting the rub your opinion?

I suspect it's causing the rub only because I've read that these tires fit on a stock 20" rim , which I believe are +24....and with these newer trucks the way to clear larger tires seems to be to pull that rim back inside the wheel well rather than have them sticking out.
