Try again I live in Dallas. I'm currently on a road trip. Of course it's not going to get this in rush hour, but I averaged 25-28 during my drive to Dallas and Frisco.

Yeah I saw where you live. And I know 75 is no joke. I do decent on my way TO work at Medical Center but on my way home I'm averaging 11-12 mpg vs the 17-18 on the way in. But I still love this 6.2L

Love the 6.2. Was close to buying that till I drove the 3.0. I'm a bit biased to diesel trucks but love the big V8 also. I don't buy trucks for fuel economy but this has been a pleasant surprise. I despise the 75. Worst hwy stretch from McKinney to Dallas in the country in my opinion, and I've lived in LA and San Diego. I call it surving the gauntlet.

To those pondering if you should purchase a 3.0. Numbers don't lie. Show me an EV truck that gets the range and economy. Oh wait!
Impressive to be sure but I am willing to bet it is lying. Do the math, what you see is probably about 1 mpg high but still very nice!

I'm doing decent with my 6.2L. Averaging 15-16mpg on a tank, daily driver, 50/50 streets/highway. I gas up once every two weeks.
You must have a hsort commute. I'm usually filling up about every 4-5 days, but my roundtrip commute is roughly 75 miles and the latter half is in stop & go traffic

Yep, 26 miles round trip commute, working 3 or 4 days a week, 12 hour shifts. If you're getting 300-375 miles between fill-ups as a commuter, you're doing good.

If I had a 75 miles round trip commute, I'd be driving a different car to work.
