Minor Issue

Overall I love my 24 AT4X. But one thing has been driving me insane..... besides the fact that the center console is really small and the rediculious tray that you need to remove to get anything out, the dam arm rest doesn't open 90 degrees! It opens just enough to make it difficult to get anything out. and a notible mention, what the heck no soft open on the glove box!! GMC cheaped out ont the stupid stuff for a truck of this price point you'd figure a little more thought would go into these items. I realize it's nit picking but just needed to vent.

I added this drawer pull from Home Depot to the center of the tray. At least now, I can use one hand and pull it straight up.

Does the refresh console open and stay open? Or does it require holding it open while retrieving items? Sounds like it would fall close all the time, unless there is resistance built into the hinge.

yes it does stay open.... but its doesn't open 90Degrees so getting stuff out sucks. super poor design.

Yes, news of the Bean Counters' demise in Detroit is grossly exaggerated...appears that they are alive and well in doing their thing.

I added a bar style kitchen cabinet handle to the center of the removable tray. Much easier to grab it and pull it out and hold it.

Thats a great idea. I have broken 2 taking them out. Because they are heavy from all my stuff and I break off a weak spot. Hard to grab too. Anyway excellent advice
