Metal grinding noise

I have noticed a metal grinding noise when accelerating or decelerating in the 38 to 32 mph range. Starts when decelerating mph hits 38 and goes away at 32 mph. Does not matter if the brakes are applied or not. Same noise when accelerating. Anyone else notice the same? All in the rear end
