We’ll keep the DMax dually and toy hauler but have a at4 EV on order and we’ll tow a 20’ travel trailer for another lap around the USA.

We took a camping lap around the USA when we married with a cheap-o Fleetwood travel trailer & our 8.1 GMC.

It was the most amazing experience of my life.
Growing up in Tinseltown visiting the rest of the USA is a real eye opener.
Fantastic country with fantastic people.

Camping ya scratch the surface a little deeper too.

The TH too big east of the Mississippi. Yeah some do it but compact and simple works better.

You can camp on any BLM land unless posted and it’s rarely almost never posted.

Not an EV advocate, we’re just EV enthusiasts for the past 24 years. Forcing EVs on people hurt the segment in several ways.

Towing & camping with an EV isn’t all the drama people make it out to be.
We’ll post our camping & travel adventures here in the AT4 forum.

Sierra AT4 EV at Trancas Malibu.

We bring a small solar generator to charge the little things like phones and rechargeable fans, the kids tech when I let them use it.

I saw a tenting video where the guy used a larger solar generator to charge his Tesla while he camped.

The camper was great, the cost to own and store plus insure was too much for the little we used it. Most of the camping areas we used were over a $100 a night, a little more and we could stay in a hotel. It was fun while we had it, 6 years.

We have solar on the RV and still not accustomed to it being energized all the time.
Fantastic.
Rarely run a generator in the cooler weather.
