Out back!
I will have a tool box on this truck. That way I won't have to keep all that stuff inside my pristine AT4. I was also considering a truck vault...but that's a bit too steep right now. Something like these...post em up! Links are helpful too.

I haven’t put a toolbox in this truck as of yet. All my tools stay in the ranch truck. But on my last truck, I had the Decked System- highly recommend!

Yes, you can add on locks. But with tailgate locked they are impossible to get in to, without opening tailgate. But for extra security you can add locks. I carried rifles and shotguns in my decked system many times.

Another bump. I am looking for a small tool box that will fit underneath a hard trifold cover. It doesn't have to be accessed from the outside of the bed. I don't mind having to step into the bed. possibly something that sits towards the cab. Anyone got any ideas or know of a product?

I have the Retrax Pro MX Retractable cover that is lockable and I carry several smaller toolboxes: one for the hand tools (hard plastic) lockable, one for the tie downs and flares, soft bag, 1 Milwaukee bag with 5 hand tools and batteries (soft bag) and the most recent purchase is a 24" lockable rolling toolbox for booster cables, extra hand tools etc.https://www.princessauto.com/en/24-in-rolling-tool-box/product/PA0008928673. The rolling one is weather proof and lockable.

The first three tuck under the front of the canister and the last one sits against the canister and in front of the fender well.:)

Okay here they are, I use several tool boxes because I can't carry too much weight and I use different tool boxes depending on the task at hand. You can see where the Retrax cover keeps the inquisitive out. We have a lake lot and farm so lots of maintenance.;)

How is the ZDOG box holding up? It looks like a solid fit to fill up the space. Weatherguard doesn’t leak, but it also doesn’t fit well in the GMC short bed.

I don't have one on my truck. I just found that picture online. I run a tonneau cover and plan to run BRS side racks, that way I don't have to run a tool box.

If ya need a little more, can put one on both side’s. Easily swing outta way or remove- can still use plug or handle and do not block bed lights.
