Was wondering if anyone has replaced the few incandescent bulbs with LEDs yet? The OM warns not to replace the incandescent bulbs with LEDs but this is typical. I routinely replace the incandescent bulbs I can with LEDs in every vehicle I've owned.

I have already ordered Philips Ultinon LED bulbs for the CHMSL, cargo lamps, tag lamps, reverse lamps and rear turn signal lamps. I intend to do the interior lamps later.

Yesterday my Philips Ultinon LED bulbs arrived. Still waiting on the reverse bulbs and did discover even with front LED turn signals I'll need to install resistors on both rear brake/turn signal bulbs to address hyper flash.

A little Googling found that Sylvania Osram makes an "LED Equalizer" to fix this problem. Since my brake/signal bulbs are 7440 (W21W) and 21 watts the 27 watt Equalizer should do the trick.

First thing I tried to do but it was far more challenging than I thought possible. I spent hours searching the interwebs and even went to 2 brick and mortar auto parts stores with no luck. Help came from an unexpected source, a feedback comment on Amazon.

The user said he had been running these fox a while without any issues. He also suggested wrapping the module in high temp silicone so I ordered a thick silicone pad and zip tied around it.

So far so good. No issues and they are very bright.

Hi SeaMac,

I was wondering if you or anyone else could help identify what bulbs in the 2023/24 GMC Canyon AT4X are incandescent and which ones are LED (both interior and exterior)?

From videos online, it looks like the front headlights are completely LED and part of the tail lamps as well (C-shape); however, I can’t determine which exact bulbs in the back are LED, or if the side markers are LED either? Also seems like all the interior lights are all incandescent :/

I’m picking up my truck next week and was hoping to start with some simple mods right away! I can’t seem to find a concrete and exhaustive list online of which lights are actually LED versus which ones aren’t.

If anyone happens to have the exact bulb sizes / links to LED replacements, HUGE thanks!!

Best,
AP

Welcome. Any pics of your Canyon? Haven't seen many X's.
