Leaf spring rear axle clunk?

So before I purchase a brand new HD duramax, I'd like to hear others feedback if you are experiencing issues with your leaf Springs or rearend clunk? Reading a lot about this online. I'm already aware of the valve body tranny issues.

Thanks for the reply. I am seeing this more on the at4x but not sure if it's isolated to that trim.

I've had my 2024 AT4 3500 for almost two years now and haven't experienced this.

None here on my '24 AT4x

I think @pinebaron had his rear leaf pack replaced under warranty on his '24 AT4X. But I don't recall him having any problems since.

With 8200 miles on my 2025 HD, a pothole broke the right leafspring at the mounting eye. Dealer refused to warranty it. Even though you can see the cracked was there from the manufacturer.

Full year now, no clunk.

I'm at 35k miles and no issues. I've been fully loaded, towed near max a few times, and articulate the rear often on my property. Added to look-out for list though. Knock on the wood...so far so good for me.
