Kicker Tailgate Speaker Package

Does anyone have the Kicker Tailgate Speaker Package? What are your thoughts on it? Is it worth the money?

I was looking for specific specs/pkgs. Happened to find one that had it already installed. I've had the truck for 5 months and didn't use it much initially (Covid, not going anywhere). But I will say, I have loved it over the past several weeks as I watch NCAA football in the garage then find the pregame radio show that I'm really interested in to listen to as I watched whatever game was on. Personally, very glad to have it.

they sound decent, nothing crazy about the sound, But, they are bad ass at the lake and at camping, its just nice to have some sound while you sit on the tail gate.

I was looking at do something on my own as well. Anyone know if one can get the wiring harness by itself?

I’ve got it on mine and used it a handful of times, it sounds decent nothing crazy and everybody that sees them thinks it’s pretty cool but myself i wouldn’t by my truck just for them.

I have it as well. I have used it a few times and like it. It actually sounds better as you get further away. As others said it will not blow you away but it has good sound and nice that it is waterproof and safe in the elements.

i-pod and music apps with equalizer makes a huge difference too.

If your looking at buying one, they are about $600 on eBay and looks like about a 30 min install. I’ve been waiting to hear one in person before I decide to buy one or not.

I bought my truck off the lot and it had the kicker package. I personally wouldn't have paid the for it if I was ordering. It can give you some background music while tailgating or whatever, but you wouldn't want to listen critically. It reminds me of a 70's/80's boom box......$70k boom box at that .
