Anyone running these tires? Just ordered a set in 35-12.5/20
That's not good.Love the way they look. Super beefy and not too loud at all. Only qualm is that the upper control arm rubs the sidewall lugs since they stick out so far.
I did a ¼" spacer on them and it got the wheel off the pugs. Only issue is that it rubbed down the inner sidewall lugs almost to the tire.
Didn't notice the rubbing until I got home from Firestone. They didn't tell me they were touching after the install so I didn't think anything of it. I got home and smelled burnt rubber so i looked and thats what I saw. Took my wifes truck the next day on lunch to get the spacers and installed them
You would think. I am in contact with their corporate office. I wanted to let them know about how careless it was for them to not tell me and give me the option of putting my old tires back on until I got spacers for the new tires to account for the side lugs. Hopefully they make it right. That makes sense. You would expect the Firestone people would have mentioned the rubbing. They should have noticed it. I'd be pissed at them for not telling me something like that, it is quite dangerous to have the tires rubbing on the UCA's.
Glad you got it taken care of with the spacers!
