Thanks for the article! I haven’t read that one yet, but I did watch a few videos on them before ordering. They get delivered today, so I will hopefully be able to get them installed today too.

Love the way they look. Super beefy and not too loud at all. Only qualm is that the upper control arm rubs the sidewall lugs since they stick out so far.

Those do look good. Looks like a Nitto RG on first glance.

Maybe use a 1/4" or 1/2" spacer to stop the rubbing? Don't think that is too safe for the UCA to hit the tire, even if only the sidewall lugs.

I did a ¼" spacer on them and it got the wheel off the lugs. Only issue is that it rubbed down the inner sidewall lugs almost to the tire.

I actually am shocked you were driving it with the two front tires rubbing on the UCA's.

Didn't notice the rubbing until I got home from Firestone. They didn't tell me they were touching after the install so I didn't think anything of it. I got home and smelled burnt rubber so i looked and thats what I saw. Took my wifes truck the next day on lunch to get the spacers and installed them

That makes sense. You would expect the Firestone people would have mentioned the rubbing. They should have noticed it. I'd be pissed at them for not telling me something like that, it is quite dangerous to have the tires rubbing on the UCA's.

Glad you got it taken care of with the spacers!

You would think. I am in contact with their corporate office. I wanted to let them know about how careless it was for them to not tell me and give me the option of putting my old tires back on until I got spacers for the new tires to account for the side lugs. Hopefully they make it right.
