With 21.123 miles was told I need to have a transfer case fluid change performed, I read online that it really doesn't need for it to be done. Owners manual states under Service and Maintenance -
Maintenance Schedule Additional Required Services - Normal - Change transfer case fluid, if equipped with 4WD. (4) 156.000 miles.
(4) Do not directly power wash the transfer
case and/or front/rear axle output seals.
High pressure water can overcome the seals
and contaminate the fluid. Contaminated
fluid will decrease the life of the transfer
case and/or drive axles and should be
replaced.

This Dealer also added a surcharge of 3% penalizing me for using a GM Rewards card.

Spoke with a different GMC Dealer and the service person that answered the phone told me around 60.000 miles. This is a normal use vehicle that I put a 2020 CAN-AM Outlander XT 850 in the bed once in a while. That's all it hauls.
Thoughts?

I would follow your owners manual servere duty recommendations. Which probably is 60k.

I would use your different dealer, if it's not an inconvenience.

My truck is a 2021 with the 6.2. I have a habit of using my trucks as trucks. They get driven a lot, they tow a car trailer, a utility trailer, or my boat. I also plow snow, and maintain 5 properties. I actually got stuck this past winter in a deep heavy wet storm, and was able to power out. I then drove from NY to Florida and back twice, just this year alone. My dealer knows me. They know that I do my own mechanical work when I have the time to do so, and I'm very much informed on what I own, how it functions, and what service it needs. They don't pull any crap with me. I hit a deer coming back from Florida a few weeks ago, and the truck has been pretty much incapacitated. I'm on a 2 to 4 month wait for the parts to fix it, not including the time to do the actual repairs. I was over due for a oil change, as I was in Florida when it came due. Because I knew it would be sitting idle for some time, I wanted the oil changed, as it's better to sit with fresh clean oil, than older dirty oil. I got it up there for the service, and then I inquired about the transmission/transfer case service, as I currently have 42,xxx miles on it. They said that it should be done around 50,000 miles, but because mine does the work that it does, they would recommend that with my next oil change, I get the transmission and transfer case serviced (they share the same fluid). I'm in agreement with their thoughts on my servicing sooner, than later. As a added measure, I will probably have the rear end, and front diff both serviced not too much further down the road too.

Just a heads up. when they service, they do the flush, not just fluid and filter on the transmission. I'm not a huge fan of the flush, but with the solenoids inside, I can agree that the flush is probably the best service on these newer transmissions.
