Jacking on frame

Hey guys
If I need to jack the truck up by the frame to let the leaf spring separate to install spring things, can I put my floor jack on the frame rail right at the back of the passenger door?

You can put a jack anywhere on the frame rail as long as it's flat. It's the strongest part of the truck. Unless you have a pretty big jack you will need some hefty wood spacers to be able to get it all high enough.

Thanks. Wasn't sure if you could twist the frame by just lifting one corner by the frame.
