Issues installing MyGMC app

I downloaded the app on my iPhone. made an account and on the screen where you provide vehicle, I can enter my VIN, but the pull downs where I select year, make and model - when I select one , say “year” Year is show at the bottom of the screen with a arrow that looks like it is used to scroll through years, but nothing is shown. No matter what I do, it goes back to the previous screen

any ideas?

WAG...Try CAPITOL letters. Maybe the app isn't continuing to choose a year cause it's still waiting for a valid VIN.

does the dealer have to do something, like mark the car sold for this to work. I know for my Ford Expedition, the dealer had to register the car as sold for the app to activate, Ford told me wait for 72 hours
 

As soon as my dealer registered my email into onstar for each truck and could login into the infotainment screen, they were available on the app. Can you login into onstar on a computer and see your account?
 

Nope, getting frustrating. In web browser, I logged into my account, it sent the code to my email, type in the code and it goes to GMC home page, so I am thinking great it worked. Click my account on home page and it has a “sign in” or create account option. Endless loop
 

Same issue, had to erase infotainment data on Nav screen in settings. Once deleted shut off engine switch, open and close door, restart engine and enetered sign in information and it took.. Hope this helps.
 

Given the bugs & issues in the app, don't you think they think they have thier head over the clouds? Not gonna delete the user data even when demanded? If they think they are so great, why not use that greatness to resolve the issues in the app. We will not fix the app nor delete your data, Use GMC & pay $1500 with free bugs.:cautious:

Also, i'm stuck at the login screen. I tap the sign in button, and then it loads the login screen again. My credentials are correct. It's not showng any wrong password or something, just reloads the loging page again, on the website, using Chrome browler. Any solution?
