So I added the RECON running board marker light / turn signal combo to my Yukon. I have the same ones on my 2500HD and love them and they work perfectly on my 2500 with no issues. My Yukon lights work and the turn signal function works, but every once in awhile it causes the front turn signals to stop working and the rear to hyper flash, which gives me the "check turn signal light" on the dash board, then they go back to working normally again after I turn the turn signal off and back on. All the wiring connections are snug and heat wrapped. Any thoughts?

Could be the extra draw with the running board lights. The electrical systems are pretty finicky and that might be enough extra draw to cause the issues. I would try a relay with power feeding it from the battery then use your signal wire as the signal input to the relay. You could mock it up and try it to see if it solves the issue, and if it does then tidy up. If your connections are good that would be my next step to troubleshoot.
