FYI - I finally got the time to schedule an appointment with my dealer for complains on my 22 refresh. The main concerns were with the transmission issues on low gears hesitating and hard downshifts, the infotainment system had not received a viable OTA update in over a year, and the lane assist seemed to me to be very sensitive.
The dealer found a new software update for the TCM and so far with only one hour of driving the transmission seems to shift smoother, the downshift issue and the hesitation are gone.
My software version of the IOK was pretty far out of date the tech said. I noticed the system is more responsive now. The issue with car play not return to the radio is gone. Google maps still takes forever to load.. The play story has more apps including Waze. Some of the Google apps artwork is now black and white instead of the colors, but some are still color. Maybe I could do this before but never tried, the vertical row of apps on the left end can be replaced with different apps. Overall touchscreen seems more responsive.
the dealer said there was nothing wrong with the lane assist but I notice a significant difference driving home. This must have been addressed in the updates and not a specific update. I feel much more comfortable now and don’t feel like the truck has a vendetta against the guy walking down the side of the road.
So far so good. Time will tell.

Because I asked my dealer to do any updates to my Truck and they said they would charge me for it. So I said no thanks. I was wondering if its a new thing as they never use to or they just do it here. Thanks

Oh hell no. If my dealer said that, after a very healthy debate, I would call GM directly as well as talk to the regional service rep, then switch dealers. I did that when I bought this truck. I had a Chevy before and always had it serviced by the dealer. I went to buy this truck and they offered me over msrp. I refused, with a healthy discussion, and went to the next dealer. Much better experience and bought 2 vehicles. Even put in writing their commitment at order. Received multiple discounts for waiting, military, financing, and friend (my neighbor works for GM) and they took every discount off msrp, no questions asked. Meanwhile the original dealer is “under new ownership” and has to fight for allotments.

Maybe this could help you 🤷🏼
