I am kindly asking somebody with a 2021 AT4 2500 6.6 Duramax ( WITHOUT the snowplow/camper package ) to slide under their truck with a flashlight and take down the part number for the torsion bars. Or even just one of the part numbers L or R. (should look like picture) Thank you so much in advance!

Back story:

I just bought a brand new 2021 AT4 Sierra 2500. It included the snowplow/camper package and I wasn't smart enough to realize this package comes with a beefier set of torsion bars boosting the front axle vehicle weight rating to 6000. This thicker torsion bar affects the ride quality quite a bit. I test drove a regular 2021 and it was notably better.

So what I want to do is order a set of OEM non-snowplow torsion bars and swap them out. I called the GM service department but they weren't super helpful because they're showing 4 part numbers for each side, and they are vin specific. I imagine the part numbers I need end in 85 and 87 but I'm not sure.

Well there appear to be multiple part numbers other than yours. There are some softer aftermarket ones that are supposed to be softer so you might want to look at:
https://www.dieselpowerproducts.com...RWTUA9c-yYJ99hNeTie3GqSWC-7o-xz8aAmyfEALw_wcB

If not, here are some VINs:

A 2020 2500 AT4s with the Duramax 11,350 and no camper package or snow plow prep on the window sticker: 1GT49PEY4LF160222

Now these ones don't have a window sticker but I can't find anything saying they have the camper/snow plow package (all 2021 2500s with the DMAX):
1GT49PEY7MF143450
1GT49PEYXMF175437
1GT49PEY2MF188943
1GT49PEY8MF229477

I would say that if the part number matches for all of these VINs then that is the one you want

Hopefully you find what you are looking for!

This is what I ended up doing exactly. Thank you. I was able to find the part number by looking up VINs that didn't have the snow package. I checked out 3 or 4 with the dealership part department and that was enough to confirm it. I sure appreciate it!

Awesome! Now please share some pictures of your AT4 :)
