Hey all,

Nice to be back in a GMC after three years (old beat up 4runner and an F150 for a year). Here's some pics from the truck's first major off-road trip, drove from southern New Mexico up to Telluride and hit Imogene pass....the TFL episode with the Trail Boss doesn't do justice to how difficult that route is, but I think I made it more so by starting on the Telluride side....in fact, as we were airing back up in Ouray afterward, I said to my buddy "I can't believe I just did that trail in that truck...", and a guy walking buy said "Neither can I, I passed you in a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon".

The single stage compressor and bedrug is in the garage waiting for install, and I've already put on a ceramic coat to protect the paint. Used a bed tent for the first time on this trip too, but apparently didn't get a picture of it.

Looking forward to tips and tricks from the forum guys; my eventual plans, Lord willing, are leveled struts/upper control arms, and 34's, to make the whole overlanding thing a bit easier.
Anyone got the best low-cost solution for a rollup Tonneau? I had a Truxedo on my last truck, and just a little wx protection for the cargo area is all I'm looking for. Anyone got a used one?

Cheers!

Sweet picture! Do you think you could post some more now? You mentioned New Mexico, do you live there? If so, where?

Thank you!

Also, I like that name :)
