Out back!
I was just curious...I see a ton of AT4's in my area, and me being a performance junkie, I HAD to have the 6 piston Brembos. I was curious if a percentage of big braked trucks was out there, and what that percentage might be. Yell it loud and proud men...big brakes? Let it be known!

I haven't seen a rig around me with them, although I will admit I haven't been looking for these. I'll be sure to keep an eye out for them in the future though!

Also, how are you liking them so far?

Simply put...they are awesome! I had to bed the pads the first time I really "drove" the truck since they didn't do that from that factory. But once I did...oh man were they great. They absolutely get after it. I will admit, I'm excited to put some vented rotors on it though as so much heat can get in them that they need some ventilation.

I’ll be going for after markets because these factory brakes …. How do I put it … SUCK! What a shame to go so cheap on one of the most important parts of the truck!

Not to mention...$2997 for 6 piston Brembo's and a 14+" rotor with a warranty. That same setup buying outright would be 6-7K from a retailer...and no warranty.
I may be searching for a lightly wrecked at4 with Brembo’s 🤷‍♂️🤣
I do know that I won’t be pulling Anything until I get rid of these factory rejects !

One thing I've noticed, replacement parts are hard to source. They're 16.1 (410mm x 32mm) inch rotors and specific pads. I had to contact Brembo directly to see if I could get the information needed to upgrade them (or just replace parts). So far, I'm still waiting. Don't get me wrong, I think the brakes are great! But without drilling or slotting, they got hot very quick and lose bite after only a few application. I would like to swap the fluid for some DOT4 and some steel lines...I think that would also help with the heat issues. If these things get as hot as they do, I can only imagine how awful the poor stock small guys are. Holy cow.

I'm interested in this big brake kit, when i enter my truck info (2025 GMC Sierra AT4 Diesel) on GMC accessories it says it not compatible any clue why? i do have the 20” wheels.

Interested as well for 2500HD w AEV Salsa wheels. Also wondering do factory brakes need bedding?

Are you racing your truck? I don't understand how you are overheating your brakes so quickly with regular driving.

I have Brembo 6 pot brakes up front and Brembo 4 pot brakes in the rear on my 2019 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack and they are by far the best brakes I’ve ever felt..stock Brembo pads are very aggressive and make a ton of brake dust so I changed them out to a set of Powerstop pads and now hardly no dust but they still work great. Also helping to save the expensive two piece rotor set up it has.

Only way i could see over heating breaks on a truck would be heavy towing through the mountains, or long trips in stop and go traffic while towing a heavy trailer.
