Good afternoon everyone!
After looking around on the interwebs for a good forum to discuss GMC Canyons and specifically AT4s I found myself here!
I currently own a 2022 Canyon AT4 3.6L v6 which I bought brand new in 2022.
We do some towing with our 22 foot camping trailer and has been working well!
Some items that I have updated and removed are the following.
All lighting has been updated with LED 6000k lights
Added Husky floor mats
Added removable bed liner
Added Action Cab cover
Added new rear backup cam
Added a K and N 77-3104KP, Cold air intake system.
Borla exhaust tip
Had APS drop step running boards, but removed them due to awful rusting and paint peeling.
Removed Husky mud flaps
Removed the front bumper air damn for better clearance
Wanting to do:
Throttle body and throttle body spacer
Blacked out badges
Front grille (black) instead of the dark grey which has coating peeling issue. Grille already replaced once under warranty and new one continues to do the same.
Front engine skid plate
Bigger rims 18”+ (black) with AT tires
New drop steps
I live in Ontario, Canada and our winters can be rough with salt, sand and bitterly cold. The truck has been doing pretty good!
In the first year I had replaced a blower motor under warranty, the ignition part where the key gets inserted as there was an issue having the truck in park and not able to remove the key, as well as the front grille as it was peeling… but seems to be a design flaw.
Looking forward to sharing experiences and trading stories with everyone
Added the before and after new backup cam install. Some pics of the truck when I picked it up and when it had the running boards on.
Cheers
