I am replacing my bose dash speakers and the male molex connector was stuck, even though I pulled out the red tab and pressed it to release it... This was the only connector of the four that were stuck... so I used needlenose pliers to disconnect it and damaged the male connector.

Q: How / where can I get a replacement connector or pigtail with the connector? I am capable of soldering in a spliced replacement, but I am not sure what this connector is called... I am not sure how/where to purchase a replacement. Any insights are suggested!

This connector is the opposite (male end is what I need to splice in) of the Metra 72-4573 speaker adapter.

Thank you!

It still has the lock portion, it's the release lever that's damaged. Just plug it back in, it's not like a connection your going to be frequently used.

Thank you, I removed the red locking piece/release and can put it back in, but I damaged the plastic insert. I know I can likely make it work if needed... Just checking to see if there's a replacement I can purchase. Cheers!

In case anyone else has my luck, here's the part details for a replacment pigtail connector from GMC...
