Hello Everyone - New 2024 HD AT4

Hi, I live in SW Florida and just purchased a new truck as the thread suggests in Titanium Rush Metallic. I’m coming from Ford. I researched HD truck brands and feel GMC was the best for what I was looking for in a vehicle. I believe they knocked it out of the park! I mainly haul my boat and the towing capacity is way more than what I need. I’m trailering 7,000 lbs and occasionally carry my Harley in the bed. I go to the keys often and I want to tow with the feeling that nothing is behind me. I know it’s overkill, but I fell in lust with the HD AT4. It’s my money, so that’s what I purchased. I’ll be searching the forum for mods and general
HD knowledge.

You made the right choice. It's not really overkill, it's the right truck for the job. You can easily tow that with a 1/2 ton, but wait until you feel the difference. I had a Tundra TRD Pro, and I always felt (unpleasantly) what I was towing. With my 2500, a literally forgot I was towing an excavator, and almost drove through a McDonalds drive-thru. I diverted just in time. If I didn't hit my turn signal, and had the side view camera light up, bad sh** would have happened. With that load behind my Tundra, I would have been white-knuckle driving the entire time.

Nice truck! It will get the job done and if you feel more comfortable, that’s all that matters.
The Titanium Rush Metallic is a great color too. Good choice!
